Big Thinking Starts Small
The PPHS LAB program offers a learning environment designed for students who thrive with independence, responsibility, and guided support. Located in the lower level of Cornerstone Lutheran Church in East Indianapolis, it’s a small, purposefully designed space where students are known, supported, and empowered to learn in ways that work best for them.
A Program Built for You
The program is designed for students who are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and looking for a different approach to learning. Whether students want greater independence, more direct guidance from advisory coaches, or an environment that encourages ownership and accountability, PPHS LAB is built to support their growth and success.
Learning That Feels Different — Because It Is
At PPHS LAB, students follow student-driven learning plans designed for self-motivated learners who want more ownership over their education. Coaches work closely with students to align their academic goals with real-world experiences, whether that’s building a podcast, writing poetry, or exploring career paths through work-based learning opportunities like internships and pre-apprenticeships.
Students benefit from:
Independent learning supported by advisory coaches that adapts to the student’s learning style
Access to the full Purdue Polytechnic High School network, including student activities and college credit opportunities
A supportive environment where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to grow
Interest-based learning that connects academics to real life
This is learning reimagined: built for students who want greater independence, meaningful experiences, and the opportunity to take ownership of their future.
Student Experience
A Place to Belong. A Space to Grow.
High school should be more than just academics. At Purdue Polytechnic High School, it is.
