What Student Life Looks Like at PPHS LAB
At PPHS LAB, school feels different…because it is. With fewer students and more support, every learner has the chance to be seen, heard, and challenged in meaningful ways.
This is learning, redesigned: intentional, innovative, and built for self-motivated students.
At PPHS LAB, students take ownership of their education through guided learning. Every student works with coaches daily to create learning pathways aligned with their goals, interests, and future plans while developing the independence and accountability needed for success beyond high school.
Students engage in meaningful real-world experiences that blend creativity, critical thinking, and applied learning. Whether producing a podcast, exploring AV technology, or collaborating through community partnerships, students build practical skills through purposeful, impactful work.
As part of the larger Purdue Polytechnic High School network, students in the PPHS LAB program also have access to college-credit opportunities, college preparation support, and student activities across the PPHS community.
“Our daughter just finished her freshman year at PPHS and is gearing up for her first week at Purdue University for Data Science and STEM! She loved her first year of high school, developed lasting friendships, had incredible support from staff and teachers, and cannot wait to start her Sophomore year! Her academic needs continue to be met and she is on track to have all Core high school credits by end of next school year! You can tell how much the administration, support staff, and teachers love being part of this community and watching the students’ success!”
