A PURDUE POLYTECHNIC HIGH SCHOOL
Student Experience
What’s It Like to Be a Broad Ripple Student?
At PPHS Broad Ripple, high school looks a little different. Sure, you’ll still take core classes like Algebra, History, and English, but you’ll also dive into hands-on projects, explore real career paths, and start preparing for college from day one.
From dual credit courses to college advising, we’ll help you earn credits, build confidence, and get a head start on your degree, all for free.

Real Learning, Real Life
Our students don’t just sit in rows and take notes. They build skills that colleges value and careers demand. Here, you might:
Build robots and design apps
Launch small businesses and community service projects
Take college-level courses and earn credits that transfer
Solve real-world problems through Passion Projects
You’ll learn by doing, and you’ll do it with the support of teachers, mentors, and community partners who are committed to helping you succeed in college, your career, and life.
“During high school, I was eager to break out of my shell. Until 8th grade, I was quite reserved and spent most of my time alone. My goal was to try new things. Although I didn’t make the first-year baseball team, I found my place in robotics during my sophomore year and participated in esports during my junior year. We were undefeated in the 2023 tournament. I was offered an internship as a teacher of elementary students. I consciously tried to step out of my comfort zone, connecting with new people and participating in activities I enjoyed and knew little about. Through perseverance, I formed valuable friendships and achieved things I once only dreamed of.”
A Place Where You Can Be You
Whether a student is outgoing or quiet, artistic or analytical, focused on college or still figuring things out, there is a place for them at PPHS.
Our goal is simple: help every student feel like they matter. Because they do.
