PPHS Student Thrives with Support from Thee Outlet: Building a Brighter Future Through Innovation and Community

At Purdue Polytechnic High School (PPHS), we’re passionate about empowering our students by connecting them with innovative programs and community leaders who share our commitment to student success. Recently, Neveah Durham, a junior at PPHS South Bend, joined WNDU 16 News Now to discuss her journey with Thee Outlet, a transformative program in South Bend focused on youth empowerment. Led by founder Catrina Baker, Thee Outlet provides students with meaningful interventions, life skills, and a safe space to grow personally and professionally.

PPHS students like Neveah are a testament to the power of combining a progressive, hands-on approach to learning with supportive community partnerships. Thee Outlet meets weekly, giving students access to mentorship and an environment designed for growth. This initiative, aligned with PPHS’s innovative curriculum, shows how impactful a well-rounded education can be.
